Pest Service Contracts

Home Seasonal Program: We offer an “All Inclusive Program” which provides 3 exterior barrier treatments ( Spring, Summer and Fall ). The interior is done when it is required. Service includes hand spraying, granular treatments and the use of insecticidal dust along with preventive rodent control. This contract covers the complete property, includes free emergency service, can be individually tailored to a customer's needs, and offers convenient one-time billing.

Quarterly Service: Our “Quarterly Service” is our basic pest control plan. This plan is provided 4 times a year. Interior and exterior spraying is done along with preventive rodent control. This contract covers the home only. There is a service fee for in-between emergency service calls and customers are billed for each service.

Lawn Care & Tree Service

**New**: We now offer a 5-step fertilizing program for your lawn and landscape. A representative will evaluate your property and put together a program for you. Both traditional and organic programs are available. We can also provide seeding and aerations to help renovate your lawn.

Our tree spraying program helps protect your landscape investment and control any unwanted pests that reside in trees on your property (gypsy moth caterpillars, bagworms, tent caterpillars, etc).

Tick & Mosquito Treatment Programs

Our Tick & Mosquito programs help control both pests in one application.

To provide season long control, we offer a 3 month program (alternate months) and a 6 month program.

Rodent Control and Exclusion

We offer rodent control programs for various types of mice and rats. Treatments include baiting with a rodenticide and trapping. We will customize the type of rodent service to fit your specific needs. We also offer rodent proofing by sealing all entry points that rodents can gain access to your home or business.

Termite Protection

Termites are one of the most destructive insects in the United States. They attack more than 4 million homes per year and cause over 5 billion dollars in property damage. All types of structures are susceptible to an attack by termites. Cavanaugh’s can protect your home or building from these silent invaders by one of the following methods:

1. Traditional/Liquid Treatment: This treatment is performed by applying termiticide to the soil along the exterior foundation and at all termite prone areas. Termidor is the termiticide used in this type of treatment. This termiticide utilizes an advanced non-repellent, or “undetectable” liquid technology. That means termites cannot see, smell, taste, or avoid it. Instead, they contact, ingest, and share Termidor, completely unaware that doing so will inevitably eliminate the termite colony. Only a Certified Professional Company, like Cavanaugh’s, that has completed the Termidor training program can use and apply Termidor.
2. Sentricon Baiting Program: This program utilizes termite bait stations placed strategically in the soil along the exterior foundation. A coring tool will be used to install the bait stations through concrete sidewalks, driveways, etc. The stations will be monitored with an electronic device to note any termite activity. When termite activity is present in the bait station(s), Recruit termite bait will be installed in the stations until the entire colony, not just individual termites, is eliminated. The stations will continue to be monitored to protect against future termite infestations. Only authorized operators of the Sentricon System can install and service this industry leading product. Cavanaugh’s is an Authorized Operator.

Cavanaugh’s is also authorized to install other brands of termite baiting systems. For more information on these systems, kindly contact a Cavanaugh’s Termite Division Representative. All termite treatments come with a Termite Protection Plan that is transferrable to heirs and assignees, and renewable annually.

Other Wood Destroying Insect Treatments

Carpenter Ants: When we treat for carpenter ants, it involves interior and exterior treatments. We offer a 1 year warranty with service and a yearly renewable warranty offered thereafter.

Carpenter Bees: Our treatment for carpenter bees involves directly treating the harborage holes where the bees nest and breed. The treatment is performed with insecticidal dust or a liquid residual. Exclusion is also offered, by using copper mesh under fascia boards along roof lines to provide protection long after treatment is done.

Wood Destroying Insect Protection Plans: We offer protection plans for termites and carpenter ants for homeowners and wood destroying insect HUD certified inspections with warranties for real estate transactions.

Household and Industrial Fumigations

We are one of the select companies in the state of NJ who perform fumigation for both residential and commercial customers. Items treated with fumigation include:
