Every Company Needs a Mr. Heege
John Heege was 21 years old when he begun working with Roy Cavanaugh, the founder of Cavanaugh's Termite & Pest Services. That was over 50 years ago. Rejoining the company 32 years ago, he has since missed maybe four days of work.

A bit of a jack-of-all-trades, this 75-year-old WWII veteran wears many hats in the company. As a valued employee with so many years of dedicated service, Mr. Heege has earned the respect of all his co-workers. His name might not be Cavanaugh, but he is definitely part of the family.

History

If you call Cavanaugh’s Termite and Pest Services and ask for Mr. Cavanaugh, you are sure to be asked a question in return “Which Mr. Cavanaugh?” The question makes perfect sense. Heading the organization is Ralph Cavanaugh, whose father, Roy, founded the company in 1943. Ralph’s two sons, Michael and Tim, and nephew, Robert, are very active in the day to day operations of the company. Ralph and Michael have both served as President of the New Jersey Pest Management Association.

With over 68 years in the industry, the Cavanaugh name is synonymous with pest control in the state of New Jersey. The Corporate Office is located in Freehold, with branch offices in Somerville and Flanders. Cavanaugh’s employs approximately 70 people (most have been with the company for over 15 years). Our offices are staffed with dedicated professionals who are committed to our customer satisfaction. Our fully trained, licensed, and environmentally conscious technicians are the finest in the industry.
