Cavanaugh’s Pest Control is looking for hard working and reliable individuals who want to become part of our pest control team as a licensed technician. A pest control technician is responsible not only for professionally applying chemical but also for providing exceptional customer service, problem solving through thorough inspections and recommendations, and building long lasting relationships with customers.
Service Technicians with Cavanaugh’s Pest Control are trained extensively and given the right tools to succeed in the pest control industry. Both in commercial and residential services. We are looking for people who want to have a long standing career with one of the most successful family run business in the industry. Someone who likes responsibility, has a strong work ethic and takes pride in the work is the type of person we are looking for.
Requirements of a successful candidate:
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to plan and prioritize work
- Must be able to enter/exit structures and crawl spaces
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must be able to use required personal protective equipment
- Must be able to visually inspect for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.
- Must be able to use application equipment, inspection equipment, small hand helds, and small power tools
- The ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
- The ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
